The workshop “Maritime Spatial Plans (MSP) as enablers of the European Green Deal (EGD): insights from a Mediterranean perspective” intends to share the results of the MSP-GREEN project with the MSP Community of Practice in the Mediterranean (MED-MSP-CoP), the EUSAIR community and other key Mediterranean actors and initiatives. This event will provide the opportunity to prioritise MSP-GREEN recommendations on how to strengthen the integration of EGD maritime components into MSP from a Mediterranean perspective.
The workshop is part of the Mediterranean Coast and Macro-Regional Strategies Week 2024. It will be an important moment to advance the discussion about ecological transition with EU and extra-EU countries and align MSP-GREEN results with sea-basin and sub-sea-basin needs and strategies.
The event will take place in Izola, Edbin Kristan Square 1, and Online.
